July 2017 Feed-in Tariff announced at 4.07 p/kWh
Ofgem have released the new Feed-in Tariff (FiT) rates, starting from 1 July – 30 September 2017. The generation tariff is now sitting at 4.07 p/KW.h. The previous one sat at 4.11 p/kWh, and this drop was expected due to the quarterly degression.
The export tariff remains the same at 5.03 p/kWh (export tariffs are paid for with every kWh you sell to the electricity grid).

Deployment caps in 2017
Deployment caps were implemented at the start of 2016 and apply to applications for the FiT in 2017 and moving forward. This is to keep the FiT within budget and once that cap is reached there will be no further installations eligible for the generation tariff in that quarter, with any remaining applications in the queue will be in a queue for the next FiT rates. So we advise getting your application in as soon as possible to try and get the current FiT rate.
