Hi,
Can't fault ECH Group Ltd. They listened to my requirements and gave my advice and provided me with several quotes each time I tweaked the design. They didn't try to over sell or under sell me (some companies don't want to complete the G99 forms).
Once we agreed on the system, they kept me informed and updated with regards to equipment delivery. On the day of the install they arrived on time, polite and did a wonderful install. They cleaned up after themselves and I was surprised at how quickly they carried out the install.
I am very happy with the price, the system and the install. I would highly recommend ECH to anyone that is interested in getting Solar.

While things didn't go perfectly, I am pleased with the result. Life is full of surprises and in my case, ECH didn't do a site survey and found that they needed some scaffolding to access parts of my roof when they first turned up to install. Installation /scaffolding was rearranged and the install team were very good - neat install, rubbish taken away and system working well. Lessons learned: I should have ordered a bigger battery (mine is 5kwh and does not meet my overnight electricity use). Also, battery and inverter get warm, generating additional heat in the home, so be careful where you place them.

We recently had a 4kW PV array (with 5.2kWh battery) installed and we're very happy with how things have gone. (Time line: First contact 13/01, call on 14/01, survey on 31/01, kit delivery 21/02, installation 23/02.)
Wind back 9 months and we had signed up to an (unrelated) solar group-buy scheme which didn't have many positives - so I was hesitant with new attempts to finally harness the sun ...
.. but compared to other solar installers I spoke to, ECH Group (especially Carl) were by far the best in terms of putting the customer first: They recommended components, explained the pros/cons of different setups and answered (the many!) questions I had. It always felt transparent and never like a pushy sales attempt. I even chose myself to opt for a more expensive inverter at the last minute and that was accommodated.
The installers were friendly, efficient and professional (and the end result looks great). Access to a web portal to monitor battery & PV stats was provided immediately and a day later we were also given access to a second portal (specific to the more expensive inverter).
We immediately enjoyed a few sunny days at the end of February during which our grid import was almost zero throughout and we're looking forward to more such days come spring/summer!
I would highly recommend ECH.

Initial contact was very efficient and the date of installation was much quicker than I anticipated and had been lead to expect. Installation was carried out by contractors but unfortunately, because of a key piece of equipment being undelivered beforehand, there was a 5 day delay before someone could come back an commission the equipment.
All individuals we dealt with were very helpful and the set up appears to be working well as far as we can see although perhaps it is too early to say.

We sought three quotations before deciding to use ECH. We were very impressed with our initial phone call with Carl: he was thorough, patient, and not only listened to our own ideas but also gave good, honest advice. We had undertaken some research beforehand and we could tell he was not trying to sell us more than we needed. The site visit was arranged very quickly, as was the installation. The three people who installed the panels arrived promptly, were polite and diligent, and completed the job that day. After a few days we contacted ECH about an apparent issue. Not only were we able to speak to Carl almost straight away about this, we also very quickly had a call from Mark, the installation manager. He came straight over, driving a considerable distance, and stayed until he was satisfied that all was working. The instant response, the obvious pride that Carl and Mark have in their work and in the company, and the exceptional customer service, warrant a five star review. We are very happy with our new system, although be warned: looking at the data on the apps can become addictive!

Professional, responsive and prompt service
Dealing with ECH was one of the easiest transactions I have ever made. Their quotation was provided promptly with clear pricing and explanation of options all leading to a lump sum and competitive price. Lots of questions asked and Carl’s responses by phone and email provided clear and concise answers and were always within a few hours if not immediate. Not always the case with many companies in my experience and certainly gave very good first impressions. As a result, sorting out what we wanted, agreeing survey and installation dates and then doing the deal took just over a week.
The installation of panels, controls and storage on a less than ideal roof in “variable” weather took about 8 hours including instructions on use, downloading monitoring Apps etc. The three guys installing the system were great and kept us well informed on progress and discussed and agreed how and where connections would be made. A very full day for them and they left the house neat and tidy.
We have to witness the system in action over the next few months but we’re very happy with our decision to engage ECH. A small company, but because of that the level of effort to provide a great service is very apparent. I can thoroughly recommend.

Very happy to discuss the instal despite their being limited roof space. Fitted within a couple of weeks of deciding to proceed, Roofers and electrician very friendly and all of the equipment fitted within a single day. The system is not running 100% correctly at the moment (spurious readings on the dashboard) but I have full confidence that it'll get sorted pretty quickly. Excellent company whom I would highly recommend.
