Here at Smart Electrical Services we can offer a range of different services to meet your requirements. From the general electrical duties such as installing an extra socket, outside light or even a full rewire to Solar Photovoltaics (PV), Battery storage, EV chargers & Solar PV maintenance. We have been installing PV since 2009!!!

We are an MCS Registered PV installer and also members of the REAL Assurance Scheme and adhere to their requirements for consumer codes of practice.

We can offer you FREE quotes for electrical or PV work. If you require a PV quote a site survey will be required to ascertain the details of your roof such as direction, pitch, size etc. It is from this infomation that we can design your installation and calculate predicted yields from your system. This in turn is then used to work out your payback period for your system.

Please note that we are an installation company. An experienced installer will visit your property to take down details in order to provide an accurate quote. We do not employ salesmen who are commission based who come to your property giving huge discounts on the day if you sign a contract. We let you take your time and think about whether you want us to work on your home, no pressure.

  Burgess hill development 2 this was a new build development and smart electrical services installed 12 x 0.7kwp of solar pv for houses and 3.675kwp for a block of 6 appartments. we installed the solar pv smoothly, in time for the developer to run the site eg. within times when scaffold was erected and for handover to their client. the solar pv allowed the developer to achieve code 3 for the development. when i finished the site i has a quick look at the generation from the system on the flats (this is a large system for a house) and it had generated 988 kwh in only a few months. thats a fantastic return of â£428.00 from the feed in tariff alone without export and fuel savings.

  Victorian terrace house reading this job involved the installation of 6 x 240w sanyo hit panels on a slate roof. the job went well and included replacing the fuse board as well as the solar pv. the customer was so happy he emailed me: "thank you for the recent home solar panel installation. it was a very neat, tidy and professional job. i was particularly impressed that all packaging was cleared away and the floors swept. the panels have already generated 600kwh in the first few months, exceeding my expectations. i have just received the first cheque fot the power generated."

  Woodley install, reading the installation was 16 sanyo 240w hit se10 on a se roof. the installation was straighforward and we also changed the consumer unit for the customer as well.

  Woodley install 2, reading the system is 3.84 kwp and its sap calculation for the yield is 3036 kwh per year. this gives my customers a payback period of 8 years and a lifetime benefit of â£39,000.00. these sanyo hit panels are the best on the market and i am sure they will out perform and exceed the sap calculation bringing greater return and a higher lifetime benefit. this image is the sb3800/v inverter mounted in the loft.

  Nwebury here is another 16 panel sanyo hit 240w se10 installation. on this job, my structural surveyor insisted that a purlin was strenthended that supports the roof trusses. the pv panel mass bears down on the trusses. the instructions were followed and the purlin strenghtened using c24 timbers to give myself and customer piece of mind in knowing that the structural integrity of the roof is sound.

  Tilehurst, reading this installation involved the re-roofing of an extension as part of a extension to the house. the solarcentury c21e tile was used as a bipv (building intergrated photo voltaic) solution. as you can see from the picture the solar tiles replace 4 normal roof tiles and blend in exteremly well with the existing as an alternative to the normal solar panels. all the clients neighbours has commented that this was an excellent idea and couldnt believe that this was a solar pv install

  Basingstoke, berks this install was of 16 x sanyo 240w hit e01 panels giving a 4 kwp system. the picture also shows the excellent tigo energy system to boost the systems efficiency, reduce effects of shading. it also allows smart electrical services to view how the installation is performing online and monitor the system, it can show the output of each individual panel, unlike other monitoring systems. the customer also has a username and password and can login to view her system from anywhere in the world following our connection of the system to her router

  Putney, london installation of 6 x schott performa poly 240w pv panels to flat roof using console mounting bins. in the picture is dr paul cundy, this was the second installation we completed for dr cundy both using the console bins. he was delighted with both jobs and the solutions we provided to answer his pv requirements.

  Windsor, berkshire this installtion included an east/west install of 13 x sanyo 250w hit e01 pv panels. the customers (mr & mrs barber) were very happy with the job, which included the changing of their outdated fuseboard. on testing the existing circuits, we found problems with the wiring that were a danger. the potentially danegerous wiring which could have led to an electric shock was re-wired. the client has the solar pv system they wanted, fuseboard changed and remedial work to eliminated dangerous wiring. when you are getting 3 quotes from pv companies can they offer you this service? we are electricians and if something needs improving we do it because it is right to do so. if the job takes us longer we dont mind as we like to leave site 100% happy with the quality of work we have completed. we are not like most pv companies who just want to slap up panels, take the money and move to the next job.
